He was predeceased by : his parents, Athanasius Michas (Tom) and Effie Michas. He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Ann Michas; his children, Koren Elise Pehkonen (Eric) and Paul Nicholas Michas (Mariah); his grandchildren, Kathryn Elizabeth and Jamie Nicole Pehkonen; his brother Harry Michas (Magda); and his cousins, Spero and Nick Sperounis (Linda) of Saskatchewan Canada.
