She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Haugen and Mavis Haugen of Comfrey, MN; her son Scott James Way; and her brothers, Gerald of Mankato, MN and Leland of Comfrey, MN.
She is survived by: her husband James Way; her son Kevin Way; and her sisters, Sharon Goltz and Marsha Therkilesen.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (25225 W Ivanhoe Rd, Wauconda, IL 60084). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one of Ramona's favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society.
