He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Brian Richard Whiston, Dennis James Whiston and Noreen Reese (Whiston); his children, Michael Timothy Whiston (Mike) of Wauconda, IL, Kathleen Michelle (Whiston) and Colbert of Kenosha, WI; and his grandchildren, Parker, Amanda and Katie. He was also cherished by wife, his two children, his two grandchildren, his three siblings, several cousins, lots of in-laws, and a gaggle of nieces and nephews.
Alzheimer's and a global pandemic prevented him from fully participating in their graduations and other major milestones, but his pride and joy was always evident to overflowing. And now, another generation is crediting their grandfather for influencing their interest in building and fixing things, and in understanding "how things work.".
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Association to support patients and families and to advance the prevention, treatment, and cure of Alzheimer's disease.
