We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2022, at the age of 83, Artenthia D. Smith of Waukegan, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Andrew Douglas; her husband Rev. Charles W. Smith Sr.; her sons, Charles W. Smith Jr. and Andrew Christopher Smith; and her siblings, Ella Joyce Jacobs, Marilyn Wesley, Henrietta Wesley, John Henry Douglas and Lois Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Keith Smith (Shirley) and Holly Freeman (Keithron); her grandchildren, Keaira and Christian Smith; her nieces and nephews, Evelyn Logan, Phyllis Sims, Debra Jacobs, Melinda Alexander, Sylvester Jacobs and Rickey Wesley; and her friends, Ed, Camille and Melvin James.
