She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Douglas; her husband Rev. Charles W. Smith Sr.; her sons, Charles W. Smith Jr. and Andrew Christopher Smith; and her siblings, Ella Joyce Jacobs, Marilyn Wesley, Henrietta Wesley, John Henry Douglas and Lois Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Smith (Shirley) and Holly Freeman (Keithron); her grandchildren, Keaira and Christian Smith; her sibling's children, Evelyn Logan, Phyllis Sims, Debra Jacobs, Melinda Alexander, Sylvester Jacobs and Rickey Wesley; and her friends, Ed, Camille and Melvin James.
