We announce the death of Beverly J. Thomas of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 90. Beverly will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Beverly will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Beverly will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Beverly’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lemeron and Mabel Stanley-Rossiter; her sister Sharon Lemeron-Walton; and her children, Victoria George-Flowers and Leslie George III.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Thomas (Frog); her daughters, Cheryl Thomas-Villarreal (Godfrey Geissberger) and Colleen Thomas; her niece Patricia Walton-Martin (Arthur Villarreal); her son-in-law Donald Flowers; and her grandsons, Matthew Villarreal and Jeremy Villarreal.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Cemetery (1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
