He was predeceased by: his parents, Tell Ivy, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Ivy; his wife Nancy Ivy; his siblings, Jessie, Joe, Odell, Archie, Tell Jr., Christopher, Ruth, Sally, Alberta, Edie, Minnie Pearl and Julia Mae; his siblings' children, Veronica and Edward; and his great-nephews, Eric and Dar'Sha.
He is survived by: his sisters, Armorie Lee (Leon), Annie Bea Douglas and Evangelist Christine Gwyn (Thomas). He is also survived by his twelve nieces and six nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradshaw & Range Funeral Home (2513 W Dugdale Rd, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery (1436 Kenosha Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
