It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest J. Holmes (Waukegan, Illinois), who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Nala London Holmes; his grandparents, Tennyson B. and Naniva Holmes; his parents, Ernest Holmes and Lynn Craft-Franklin; his brother RoDerek Holmes; his grandmother Willie Lou Craft; his sibling's children, RoDerek Holmes, Jr. (RJ), Jamir Brewton, Z'hane Bonseignuer and Amaya Copeland; his aunt Sherry Craft; his stepbrother Chris Moore; and his close friends, Jamaal Howard and Tamesha Davis. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and childhood friends.
