He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his daughter Melissa Cox (Karmet); his stepdaughter Simone Wright; his sons, Jeffery Keys and Gregory Garrett, Jr.; his grandchildren, Dequan Keys, Janiyah Keys, Jakari Keys and Heavenly Keys; his aunts, Ola Mae of Panola, AL and Willie Mae Scott of Waukegan, IL; his siblings, Joann Garrett of Chicago, IL, Carolyn Garrett of Zion, IL, Gustella Williams (Ira) of Zion, IL, Odessa Adams of Zion, IL, Mary Foster (Walter) of Waukegan, IL, Pastor Zebedee Bell (Celia) of Kansas, Floyd Bell, Paceda Bell of Zion, IL and James Bell, Sr. (Doris); his mother-in-law Ethel Wright; his close friends, Jerry Hightower and Andre Smith; and his niece Racheryl Saunders. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
