He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Alden and Opal Alden; his daughter Carmen Marie; his siblings, Jim Alden, Lavonne Morris, Violet Alden and Viola Alden; his parents-in-law, Robert Schwarz Sr. and Margarete Landis (Harvey); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Schwarz, Randy Schwarz, James Landis and Margarete Baldwin (Schwarz).
He is survived by: his wife Katharine (Schwarz); his daughter Amber Alden; his grandchildren, Ashley Alden (Juan Carrera) of Waukegan, IL., Aron Raidart of Waukegan, IL. and Addysen Fritts of Waukegan, IL.; his siblings, Pat Arneson (Arnie), David (Sharon) and Roger Alden; and his close friend Flash. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
