She was predeceased by: her mother Bus Simmons; her husband Joseph Climons Jr.; her son James Williams (James McKindley); and her extended family, Lillie Mae Williams, Dan Williams Sr., James Williams, Dora Lee Williams, Donna Dolly, Dora Mae Dolly, Eddie Climons, Roosevelt Climons, Patrick J. Williams, Barbara Climons and Dr. Mary Lacey.
She is survived by: her son Jessie Lee Barnes (AD Barnes); her grandchildren, Willie Patterson Jr. and Jennifer Abars; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Climons of Waukegan, IL and Naomi Chatman of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (800 S Genesee St, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
