She was predeceased by: her father Margarito Cervantez; her husband Francisco G. Sanchez; her daughter Manuelita Sanchez; and her sister Linda Moya. She is survived by: her children, Marcelina Mercado (Jose Luis), Elva Salazar, Maria Zavala (Moises), Manuela Medina (Frank), Antonio Sanchez (Yolanda), Estonislao Sanchez (Elsa), Francisco Sanchez (Kathy), Margarito Sanchez (Susan), Jose Ismael Sanchez (Jennifer) and Irma Merritt; and her siblings, Carlos, Pepe Cervantez and Juana Ornelas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St Dismas Church (2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
