We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 72, Mullen Buries Jr. (Waukegan, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mullen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mullen. Though Mullen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gideon Missionary Baptist Church (1500 W Ridgeland Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
