He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beth Martinez; his daughter Emily Martinez; his siblings, Edwin Martinez (Nida), Felix Martinez (Adelle), Jimmy Martinez (Jeane), Marie Martinez, Rose Van Natta and Dino Martinez (Jovi); his parents, Gonzalo Martinez and Virginia Martinez; and his brothers, Julius Liquigan and Isaac Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Warren Funeral Home (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dismas Church (2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 Buckley Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030).
