We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2023, Robert Casey of Waukegan, Illinois, born in Shawneetown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Will Casey and Emma Casey; and his siblings, Carroll Casey, Hearl Casey, Earl Casey, Ruth Bradley, Rita Bradley, Helen Haye, Anna Jameson, Jane Randl and Inez Gibson.

He is survived by : his girlfriend Barbra Miller; his son Robert Casey (Lisa); his stepdaughter Kelly Smith; his grandchildren, Emma Casey, Robert Casey and William Casey; and his siblings, Jim Casey (Karen), Eva Chandler and Gelnda Hauth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Buds name can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Juvenile Arthritis Organization.

Bondo Joe wrote a sympathy message

“Bud and I spent a lot of time together, working, and playing. We spent a lot of mornings at breakfast, recovering from hangovers that we got the night before. He had a good sense of humor, and we aways had a good time. I started working for him when I was 12 years old, at the gas stations. Then later, at the body shop. He was overly generous. He paid me more than I would have made elsewhere, and the clock was more of a suggestion, than a rule. I miss him already. Ed Collum”
