Kaplan of Waukegan, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Kaplan and Sylvia Kaplan (Siegan); and his grandson Troy A. Brown. He is survived by : his wife Michele Kirkland; his children, Leah Kolcz (Dan) of Libertyville, IL and Marc Kaplan (Donna) of Antioch, IL; his stepchildren, Lisa Brown (Vance) of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Scott Kirkland of Las Vegas, NV; his brothers, Phil Kaplan (Jan) of Glendale, AZ and Ken Kaplan (Sheri) of Scottsdale, AZ; and his grandchildren, Beau Kolcz, Everett Kaplan, Callen Kolcz, Oliver Kaplan and Erica Brown. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
