He is survived by: his wife Delisa Gallegos; his children, John, Gina, Steven Gallegos and Rodney Hopkins; his siblings, Marcella Martinez (Edward), Joseph Gallegos Jr. (Judy), Roy Gallegos and Diana Kennedy; his sister-in-law Tawana Hopkins (Kevin); his grandchildren, John, Richard, Anthony, Destiny, Rodney Jr. and Serenity; and his great grandchildren, Jaydrian, Leonardo and Izabella.
