He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Bruce and Eleanor Light Bruce; and his wife Freda P. Warren. He is survived by : his stepchildren, Al Bailey (Sandra) of Waverly and Janice Crouch (Mike) of Arlington, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elevate Program at Waverly First Baptist Church and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
