Don Eldridge Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Eldridge of Waverly, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eldridge and Ruth Nickelson Eldridge; his wife Carolyn Lewis Busch; his daughter Wendi Eldridge; his grandson Cole Busch; and his siblings, Howard Eldridge, Ervin Eldridge and Iva Bucy.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Wilson (Keith) of Springfield, Lynn Nagel (Joe) of Waverly, Teri Broaddus (Rodney) of Waverly, Dina Eldridge (Shelly) of Waverly, Karen Wallbaum (Mike) of Atmore and Gary Busch (Sharon) of Divernon; and his pets, Tommy Joe and Lady Bird. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
