It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest L. Cleveland of Waverly, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ernest L. Cleveland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Cleveland and Katherine M. Hickman Cleveland; his granddaughter Whitney Cleveland; and his siblings, Michael T. Cleveland and Mary K. Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Angela R. Kessinger (Randy) of Dahlonega, Brett A. Cleveland (Kim) of Albany, Christopher L. Cleveland (Rischshonda) of Buffalo, Scott W. Cleveland (Tiffany) of Jacksonville and Matthew M. Cleveland (Megan) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Kyle, Bryan, Shelby, Jacob, Rachel, Addie, Jennifer, Zachary, Courtney, Hayden, Grace, Emma, Molly, Callie and Collyns; his great grandchildren, Ryliegh, Whitley and Turner; and his sister Sondra K. Prine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Neece Funeral Home (349 E Tanner St, Waverly, IL 62692). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Waverly East Cemetery East State.
