She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Sims and Helen Lively Sims; and her husband Clifford Raymond Lowery. She is survived by: her children, Jeana Rae Pitchford (Richard) of Waverly and James Russel Lowery; her grandchildren, Matthew David Whalen (Nikki) of Jacksonville, Anna Christine Whalen of Taylorville and Elizabeth Grace Groves (Aidan) of Raymond; her great grandchildren, Elena Jean, Danica Mae and Michael David; her brother Van; and her sister-in-law Betty Sims of Chatham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Waverly Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
