Jerry Trader Obituary

In loving memory of Jerry Trader of Waverly, Illinois, who departed this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 71. Jerry leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Trader and Pearl Smith Trader; and his brother Ron Trader. He is survived by: his children, Cristy Metz (Chris) of Mt. Sterling, Melissa Pleshe of Pawnee, Greg Watret of Waverly and Mike Watret of Springfield; his grandchildren, Jared, Macie, Jordan, Haylee, Amanda, Devon, Sharayah and Kyle; and his siblings, Charles Trader (Mary) of El Paso, Loren "Bus" Trader (Sheryl) of Franklin and Loretta Birdsell of Oklahoma. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
