She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Melton and Gladys Melton (Hawkins); her husband Kenny Sledge; her siblings, Nila Veatch, Bill Melton and Don Melton; and her niece Susan Melton.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Sledge (Ryan) of Bluford, IL, Jeff Sledge (Rachel) of Wayne City and Monty Sledge (Shelley) of Mt. Vernon, IL; her grandchildren, Olivia Barbee, Victoria Sledge, Kyle Sledge, Kennedy Sledge, Gracen Sledge, Walker Sledge, Radley Eilerts and Mazie Eilerts; her great grandchild Kingston Thomas; and her sister Judy Bailey (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
