With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Clark of Wayne City, Illinois. Phyllis, born on August 12, 1931, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Garner and Lola Garner (McKinney); her husband J. J. Clark; her son Denny Clark; and her brothers, Norris Garner, Raymond Garner, Herman Garner and Billy "Joe" Garner.
She is survived by: her son Monty Clark (Becky); her daughter-in-law Cindy Clark; her sister Alice Jane Crook (Cully); her brother-in-law Emery "Doc" Clark; and her grandchildren, Cody Clark (Kendra), Aaron Clark, Alex Clark (Julie), Jessi Clark, Ryan Mattingly, Renee Beck (Craig), Risa Legg (Trent), Katie Perry, Billie Saur (Brad), Clay Clark, Ava Clark, Delaney Clark, Amelia Rapien, Madison Mattingly, Bailee Beck, Seth Beck, Alexis Legg, Riggin Legg, Darrion Legg, Faith Legg, Willow Legg and Aaliyah Perry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home (803 W Robinson St, Wayne City, IL 62895). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Thomason Cemetery Fund" and will be accepted at Young Funeral Home.
