Ruby Blasdel Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026, at the age of 98, Ruby Blasdel of Wayne City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mowen and Vivian Mowen (Noler); her husband Earl Blasdel; and her siblings, Robert Mowen and Wilma Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Kitty Mooney (Fred) of Wayne City, IL, Tom Blasdel (Roxie) of Wayne City, IL, John Blasdel (Wendy) of Wayne City, IL, Don Blasdel (Phyllis) of Stonefort, IL and Jerry Blasdel (Brenda) of Villa Ridge, MO; and her cousin Helen Uhls. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Orchardville Church building fund and will be accepted at the funeral service or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
