She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Salz and Mayme Salz; her husband Raymond; and her siblings, Bernard, Louis, Rudy Salz, Marge Shafer, Flo Missal, Theresa Johnson and Doris Agnew.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Beer of Normal, Illinois, Jill Dobrydnia of Ketchikan, Alaska, Jeffry Pickard of Wenona, IL and James Pickard of Shiloh, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Tesia, Celina, Jacob, Taylor, John, Chayeleigh and Cierra; her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Addison, Lucas, Marie, Baylee, Melia, James, Ashton, Penelope, Salem, Haisley, Quinn and Kingston; and her caregivers, Julie, Denise, Kelly, Sarah, Alyssa, Melissa, Grace and Sis.
A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home (405 S Oak St, Wenona, IL 61377). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (207 W 3rd S St, Wenona, IL 61377).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to: the Eastern Mashall County EMS, Wenona American Legion Post 8, American Cancer Society, St. Judes Children's Hospital, and/or Wounded Warrior Project.
