Benjamin will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Benjamin by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Benjamin is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Benjamin’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Leah; his daughters, Josie and Josephine; his parents, Mike Rinker and Marilyn Rinker; and his sister Jenny Postma.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wheaton Academy Fine Arts Center (900 N Prince Crossing Rd, West Chicago, IL 60185). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
