She was predeceased by: her spouses, John Paul Scholtes Sr. and D'Eric Vereide; and her son John P. Scholtes Jr.. She is survived by: her son Donald R. Scholtes; her grandson John Allen Scholtes; and her siblings, Teresa Reisinger (Michael), Thomas Lanphear (Margaret), Mary Ellen Haddad (David), George Lanphear (Patricia), Susan Spittler and Gerard Lanphear (Cindy). She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
