John W. Passmore Obituary

John W. Passmore, age 76 of West Chicago, passed away May 17, 2021. John was the beloved husband of Sandra nee Iser; loving father of the late Eddie Johnson, Audra (the late James) Schmeckpeper, Jeff Johnson, and Melissa Johnson; father-in-law of Pilar Passmore; cherished grandfather of Chris Messer, Nick Mason (fiancé Diamond Sutton), Shane Mason, Lexie Schmeckpeper, Jake Johnson and Francesca Johnson; great-grandfather of Gabriella Mason; dear brother of Richard (Susan) Passmore and William (Bel) Passmore; fond uncle David Passmore and Luke Passmore.

John enjoyed golfing, stock trading and racing cars. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. John will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish (wish.org) or Habitat for Humanity (habitat.org).
