He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Piotrowski (Kamka); his parents, Frances (Soski) and Joseph K. Piotrowski; and his siblings, Irene Starzak (Walter), Alice Klinger (Henry), Elizabeth and Ed Huspen (Leona).

He is survived by: his children, Cheryll Ernst (Allen) and Joseph L Piotrowski (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Bryan, Christina, Nicholas, Jason, Joseph and Mathew; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaeson, Emery, Aaliyah, Joselyn, Cassandra, Skylee, Justin, Amelia and Jesse.
