Kenneth Tinnes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Tinnes of West Chicago, Illinois, born in Winfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Tinnes and Laura Tinnes; his wife Charlotte; his son-in-law Tim Akins; his grandson Matthew P. Dwyer; and his siblings, Louise, Vincent, Berniece, Richard (Rita) and Thomas Tinnes (Alice).

He is survived by: his children, Carol Dwyer (Mike) of Naperville, Cindy Akins of West Chicago, Christine Ianno (Santo) of West Chicago, Steve Tinnes of Colorado and Philip (Mary) of West Chicago; and his grandchildren, Michael Dwyer, Bryan Dwyer (Tracy), Mark Dwyer (Jennifer), Katie Bennetsen (Steven), Betsy Dwyer, Trisha Engle (Eric), Jessica Hussey (Sean), Mandy Akins, Kimberly Ripperger (Corey), Rebecca Mueller, Elliott Tinnes (Christen), Kenneth Charles Tinnes (Lauren) and Kelly Tinnes. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
