She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Bud" Selle and Doretta Selle; her husband Harold "Geno" Engstrom; her daughter Lisa Virbickis (Jim); and her brother Richard "Rick" Selle (Jenny).
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Vargas (Grant Hedmark); her grandchildren, Dayna Garcia (TJ Fulara), Kim Hickey (Jerad), Stephanie Stilke (Ben), Courtney Vargas (Collin Sudis), Fred Vargas, Rachel Virbickis (Kyle Polson) and Kyle Virbickis; and her brother Bob Selle (Mary). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:15 PM at the Calendar Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services (132 Fremont St, West Chicago, IL 60185). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
