He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, RJ Simmons III and Yesica E. Simmons (Nee Brown); his grandchild Lainey E. Simmons; his parents, Ray J. Simmons Sr. and Mary June Peterhans; his sibling Ric Simmons (Kelly); his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Rickman (Gary) and Sandy Fidanzia (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Ricky Simmons (Amanda), Megan Simmons, Sarah Nunez (Manny), Bonnie Rickman, Michael Fidanzia and Andrew Fidanzia.
