He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Rosie" and Florence Kerner. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Pam Self (Steve), Sheri Williams (Mike) and Rich Kerner (Marci); his grandchildren, Wade, Camaryn, Layne, Justin (Ashley), Brittany, Morgan, Payton, Cooper, Halle and Eli; and his siblings, Tom Kerner (Nancy), Jerry Kerner (late Beatrice) and Sue Kimball (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

He was always someone I admired as. a Coach since I’ve played Sports my whole life. We use to talk about Sports and everyday issues. My sympathy is with the Kerner family”
