He is survived by: his sister Mary Kate Hermann (Michael); his children, Mark Zimmerman (Rae), Martin Zimmerman (Barbara), Margaret Sorensen (Neil), Kathryn Kozlowski (Francis), Joseph Zimmerman (Mary), Julia Fredricks (Arnold), Francis Zimmerman (Charlotte), Walter Zimmerman (Christine), Peter Zimmerman (Kristin) and Kenneth Zimmerman (Sara); his grandchildren, Nicholas Zimmerman (Janet), Anthony Zimmerman (Jasmine), Heather Brozo, John Gaudi, Martin Sorensen, Adam Kozlowski (Sandy), Sage Pauli (Eric), Kyle Kozlowski, Jack Zimmerman, Caitlin Fredricks, Tess Zimmerman, Maddie Zimmerman, Raymond Zimmerman, Sarah Zimmerman, Benjamin Zimmerman, Sean Zimmerman, Adelaide Zimmerman and Kirk Zimmerman; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Zimmerman, Finn Zimmerman, Amanda Wyeth (Grant), Hannah McCarron, Keleigh McCarron, Cooper Pauli, Aiden Pauli, Michaela Osieczonek and Isabella Osieczonek; and his great great grandchildren, Elle, Luke and Noah Wyeth.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services (132 Fremont St, West Chicago, IL 60185). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (164 N Oakwood Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (720 E Washington St, West Chicago, IL 60185).
