He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Howard and Martha Gatz. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Gatz (Cynthia) and Andrew Gatz (Kerri); his grandchildren, Caleb, Nolan and Drew Gatz; and his brothers, Dick (Beverly), Tom (Danette) and John Gatz.
