It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara J. Christopherson of West Dundee, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester C. Gloede and Mamie Gloede; her husband Roger Christopherson; her brother Phillip Gloede; her brother-in-law Paul; and her sister Karen Michalski.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Wilson and Brian Christopherson; her grandchildren, Braden Wilson (Carolyn) and Brittany Botero (Leonardo); and her great grandchildren, Jack Wilson, Theodore Botero and Elijah Botero. She is also survived by nephews, several grandnieces and grandnephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (310 E Main St, East Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (310 E Main St, East Dundee, IL 60118).
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
