She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Burgess and Mabel Burgess (Rewoldt); her husband Donald; and her brother George Burgess. She is survived by: her friend Ann Heinz; her children, Jeff Lichthardt (Larissa) of Gilberts, Gail Stone (Scott) of Sleepy Hollow and Greg Lichthardt of West Dundee; her grandchildren, Jennifer Thielmann (Jay), Blake Lichthardt (Kelli), Bryan Lichthardt (Brittany Bohlen), Brandon Stone (Katie), Benjamin Stone, Avery Cahill (Liam), Nathan Stone, Taylor Bukowski (Jeremy) and Jordyn Lichthardt; and her sister Carolyn Engelhart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (310 E Main St, East Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
