He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. King and Gustava King; his daughter Cynthia; his son-in-law Michael Gillespie; and his siblings, Tom King and Judith Krich.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Alberta King; and his children, Robert King Jr., Mary McGovern (Patrick), Carolyn Blase (Bob), Donna King-Nykolaycuyk (Doug) and Julia O'Brien (Michael).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (504 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
