We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2025, at the age of 75, Billie Jo Ray of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Christopher, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hettie Smothers and Orville Anderson; her stepfather Alver Opal Smith; and her siblings, Jerry Russell, Sue Williams, Norma Stipes, Linda Norman and Greg Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Ray; her children, Lori A. Ray and Norman Ray Jr. (Lori J. Ray); her grandchildren, Alexis Ray, Rylan Ray, Amberlyn Elliott and Kaden Rotramel (Emily Rotramel); and her sister Barbara Ottolini.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reedy Funeral Home (604 E Main St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
