It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathy Lynn Harriss (West Frankfort, Illinois), who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Melvin and Mazie Melvin (Davis); her grandparents, Ivan, Irene Davis, Raymond and Kate Melvin; her siblings-in-law, Clem, Hellen Harrell and Bill D. Jones; her son-in-law Daniel Payne; and her nephews, Jimmy Melvin and Jeffrey Jones.

She is survived by : her husband Mike Harriss; her children, Matt Harriss (Sarah), Shane Harriss and Terra Clark (Stewart); her grandchildren, Kaelyn, Hayden, Trent and Duke; and her siblings, Linda Jones, Cherri Baker (Chuck) and Mike Melvin (Tina). She is also survived by aunts; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; cousins; and dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
