David A. Young Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David A. Young of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David A. Young to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Young and Lois Young (Cook); his former wife Joyce; and his daughter Cindy Dexheimer. He is survived by: his wife Rathel; his children, Tammy Wolfe (Jack), Kimmy Giganti and Jeffrey Young; his stepchildren, Rebekah Brown (Nick), Dawn White, Michael Housewirth (Christy), Robert Housewirth and Nathan Housewirth; and his brother Stanely Young. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (1902 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Edinburg Cemetery (726 County Rd 2150 N, Edinburg, IL 62531).
