She was predeceased by: her parents, William Castello and Loretta Castello; her siblings, Judy Castello and Vincent Castello; and her husband Stephen R. Bailey.

She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Johns (Dane); her stepchildren, Kim Pondelicek (Jack) and Stephen R. Bailey, Jr.; her grandchildren, Ezra, Eli, Ewan, Jack, Faith, Dylan, Ann and Rachel; and her siblings, Bill Castello (Sandy), Dave Castello (Judy), Pam Birkey (Don) and Valerie Davis (John). She is also survived by her family and many friends.

Along with Steve, Diane helped raise their grandsons, even serving as their teacher during the Covid-19 pandemic.
