He is survived by: his grandson Ed; his wife Carolyn Dawson; his children, Debbie Dawson Mayer (Doug Hester), Lloyd Houghland (Jody), Donnie Houghland (Becky) and Rich Houghland (Amanda); his grandchildren, Garrett Cardwell, Callie Dawson, Katelyn Houghland Redding, Tyson Houghland, Kyle Houghland, Cooper Houghland, Carlie Williams, Curt Mayer (Brooke) and Chelsea Meeks (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Samantha Cardwell, Garrett Michael Cardwell, Raylynn Redding, Miranda, Lily, Dorian Stoeber, Bennette Meeks, Cruz Mayer and Landon Mayhew; his great great grandchildren, Liam, Ainsley and Brooks; and his sisters, Dorcus Cravens and Helen Dodd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Edwards's name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans of Franklin County-DAV Chapter 51 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
