We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2023, at the age of 71, Gary Alan Sminchak of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Christopher, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Sminchak and Mary Sminchak (Lukek); his siblings, Molly Sminchak, Barbara Stratton and Donald Sminchak; and his brothers-in-law, Rene of Groof and Gary Stratton.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Stone-Sminchak; his sisters, Mona of Groof, Gloria Mumbower (Gerald) and Kathy Cremer (Dick); and his sister-in-law Dorris Sminchak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
