Karen Lee Peeler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lee Peeler of West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Arnold Whitaker and Freida Ocal Whitaker (Cromer); her husband Paul Virgil Peeler; and her daughter-in-law Julie Kirk Peeler. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Keith Peeler of West Frankfort and Mike Alan Peeler of West Frankfort; her grandsons, Jacob Thomas Peeler of West Frankfort and Nathanael Paul Peeler of Marion; her great grandchild Rylan; and her siblings, Victor Melvin Whitaker (Marilyn) of North Carolina and Marcia Gilbert of Palmyra.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reedy Funeral Home (604 E Main St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
