We bid farewell to Mary Manis of West Frankfort, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2026 at the age of 93. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shirley and Angela Shirley; her husband Charles Manis; her brother Robert Shirley; her granddaughters, Angela Pollard and Liza Schooneart; and her siblings-in-law, Arletta, Jim Sullivan, Jack, Donna Manis, Shirley, Jim White, Sue Ellen Cox, George Manis and Marilyn Manis-Glenn.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Manis Jr. (Georgeen), Bob Manis (Janice) and Bill Manis (Trudy); her grandchildren, Jenny Manis, Amanda Ingram, Bill Pollard, Matt Manis (Kayla), Molly Manis, Jill Hefner (Josh), Julie Weber (Blake), Jeff Willis (Lynel) and Clint Willis (Andi); and her brother Bruce Shirley. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
