He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean McLaskey and Ruth McLaskey (Rotramel); his daughter Elizabeth Ann Vincelette; his brothers, Donald, Tim and Larry McLaskey; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Betty Christian.
He is survived by: his son Christopher McLaskey (Scherrie); his siblings, Cathy Dial (Paul), Judy Hayes (Bob), Sharon Vaughn (James) and Harold McLaskey; his former wife Mary Jo Snider; and his grandchildren, Emma McLaskey and Emerson Vincelette.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Funeral Home (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the FCHS golf team.
