He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert McLain and Thelma McLain (Springer); and his siblings, Mike, Delbert, Dan, Richard McLain and Lillie Mae Nolen.
He is survived by: his wife Sidney; his son Dr. Scott McLain; and his nephew Brad McLain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Marion First Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
