With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Janet Carter (West Frankfort, Illinois), born in Thompsonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Armes and Irene Armes (Fletcher); her husband Clarence Carter; and her siblings, Sharon Bosanac, Norman Armes and Mary Bodeau.

She is survived by : her sister Donna Long (Larry); her daughters, Clarissa Carter of Lakewood Ohio and Catherine Carter Dinn; her granddaughter Lili Dinn of Carmi; and her close friend Relda Marlow of Vergennes Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
