She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Risner and Elsie Mabel Massey; her husband Dick; and her grandson Eric Forrester. She is survived by: her child Shirley Temple; her siblings, Asa James, Arthur Leon, Addie Ruth, Elsie Faye, Nila Rose and Waldo Calvin; and her children, Debra Forrester (Richard), Cynthia Redd (Hugh), Richard A. Showmaker, Christopher Showmaker and Jennifer Hart (Brian). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Independence Chapel at Greenwood Mausoleum (3210 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Greenwood Memorial Park (3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
